It’s Wildflower Time in NW Florida!

Found these beauties blooming on my hike with hubby on Saturday in the Florida Caverns State Park in Marianna, Florida.

  1. oh I love flowers. So give someone a flower I say now not later when they cannot look at them as they get older. Their eyes become dim or they have suddenly gone to Heaven.

The only flowers would be on their grave.

  2. My thoughts exactly! That's why I love to share them!

  3. Never seen a wild columbine, at least I don't think so. I wonder if there are any in our neck of the woods.

    1. Barbara I find them in the Smokies too, they just bloom later there!

  4. Beautiful! A while before we see wildflowers here......

  5. Thank you Elaine! Glad you enjoyed them.

  6. Thanks for following my blog. I think we have many similar interests. I love flowers and nature and the Smoky Mountains are my favorite place ever!!!
Spring is very late this year in fact we got an inch of snow this morning:(

  7. Gorgeous photos (not a surprise!). Have you ever eaten violet jelly? I've made it for the past couple years, and it is likely to be the best jelly I've ever eaten. Sweetly unique flavor, delicate purple color, and easy to make. One of our friends says it's his favorite all time jelly!

  8. Really gorgeous flowers ! Your photos are wonderful !

PLEASE DON'T USE WORD VERIFICATION ON YOUR BLOG ! It's very time consuming for those wanting to leave you a comment and also difficult for some to read those scrabbled up words.
