It’s Wildflower Time in NW Florida!

Found these beauties blooming on my hike with hubby on Saturday in the Florida Caverns State Park in Marianna, Florida.

  1. oh I love flowers. So give someone a flower I say now not later when they cannot look at them as they get older. Their eyes become dim or they have suddenly gone to Heaven.

The only flowers would be on their grave.

  3. Never seen a wild columbine, at least I don't think so. I wonder if there are any in our neck of the woods.

  7. Gorgeous photos (not a surprise!). Have you ever eaten violet jelly? I've made it for the past couple years, and it is likely to be the best jelly I've ever eaten. Sweetly unique flavor, delicate purple color, and easy to make. One of our friends says it's his favorite all time jelly!
