Last Bit of Fall Color

The beautiful Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka, Florida. Taken from the West Arm Bridge on Highway 22. The Cypress tree needles turn a gorgeous rusty orange before they fall off. The trees will then remain bare until spring.

    1. We don't have alot of fall color here in Florida, so the Cypress trees are really my favorites.

    1. I was lucky that day, no wind and the water was very calm.

  4. So very pretty! I remember cypress knees polished and for sale in little shops along the highways in FL when I was a kid. They had been turned into anything and everything you could imagine, especially lamps made of cypress knees. ;)
