The beautiful Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka, Florida. Taken from the West Arm Bridge on Highway 22. The Cypress tree needles turn a gorgeous rusty orange before they fall off. The trees will then remain bare until spring.
These are beautiful shots, Christine~ they are so red it looks like they're on fire!!! :)
We don't have alot of fall color here in Florida, so the Cypress trees are really my favorites.
Beautiful photos ! It has been winter here for us for a few weeks now regardless that winter truly isn't til the 21st . Snow for us today through the night and all tomorrow ! Thanks for sharing . Have a good weekend !
I've seen snow here a couple of times over the years, but it never lasts!
Those are beautiful serene pictures.
These trees are beautiful and the reflections add to that beauty.
I was lucky that day, no wind and the water was very calm.
So very pretty! I remember cypress knees polished and for sale in little shops along the highways in FL when I was a kid. They had been turned into anything and everything you could imagine, especially lamps made of cypress knees. ;)
You rarely see all those things any more Lois. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
Beautiful. I particularly like the reflections!
